They are manufactured as “kits” which include the full Econex system for your build. Combining strength, durability and impressively high thermal efficiency, these units are perfect builds whether you are letting them, selling them or plan on being a proud new owner of modular build.

• The panel’s outer structure uses 12MM MAGNESIUM OXIDE BOARD, which makes it very strong and impact resistant.
• The boards have a 60 minute fire rating, are highly water resistant and are anti-microbial.
• Panels are put through a rigid quality control process to ensure they perform in use.
• The thermal core is made of MgO foam insulation, providing superb insulation values which can reduce energy costs.
• The high density POLYURETHANE core is injected directly between the MAGNESIUM OXIDE boards providing superior in use performance and total adhesion, (unlike some other manufacturers who glue a rigid foam core between two boards).

The SPT Econex system is a key element in the SPT Advanced Modular Building System. 

The Econex components have been designed and thermally engineered to integrate easily with our own manufactured SIPs panels. They provide connections for panel-to-panel, rim board, wall head, and roof ridge construction. Econex is also used for window and door integration. All are manufactured to precise tolerances for ease of installation and are designed to minimise thermal bridging. 

• SPT SIPs panels and the SPT Econex system combine to create a modular fully integrated build, which we call the SPT Advanced Modular Building System. This means structures can be quickly put together, creating a highly airtight building with exceptional thermal performance.
• The Econex system is precision manufactured in our factory and components include corner, kingpost, rim board and wall head assemblies. We also produce roof panels, wall panel connections and window and door apertures fitments.
• The connection system includes MgO foam, as used in the panel production, as part of its construction. This means the building shell has a consistent wall of insulation running through the structure, minimising thermal bridging and eliminating cold spots.
• SPT Econex components provide a quick and easy method of joining panels that also leaves them airtight, which significantly reduces the need for expensive tapes and gaskets to provide the necessary sealing.
